ClarusIPC VoIP Testing Solutions Certified for Use with Tivoli Software

Clarus Systems Joins IBM PartnerWorld as Business Partner

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - May 2, 2006 - Clarus Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated testing and reporting solutions for IP telephony systems, today announced that its ClarusIPC® software has received the Ready for IBM Tivoli software technical validation mark. This validation mark represents to a customer that ClarusIPC software is tested and verified by IBM to be compatible with IBM's Tivoli software. ClarusIPC software is now available for customer use in the IBM Tivoli Open Process Automation Library (OPAL). Clarus also announced today that it has joined the IBM PartnerWorld program and is now an IBM Business Partner, allowing the company to leverage IBM support to help extend Clarus's reach to a broader range of markets and customers.

"VoIP certainly looks inevitable. User surveys put the number of organisations in the UK using IP telephony seriously at between 25% and 40% - with an expected increase to 85% to 90% in the next two years. Indeed, voice services are by far the main reason behind organisations moving towards converged IP networks, according to the latest annual survey by the Communications Management Association (CMA). It found that 60% of managers cited VoIP as the primary reason for network convergence. In a separate question, 73% said VoIP was a key element of their collaboration strategy - up from 63% last year."
