JOHN MCCORMACK JOINS CLARUS SYSTEMS AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

McCormack Expands Veteran Management Team at IP Telephony Testing Leader

SAN FRANCISCO - February 21, 2006 - Clarus Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated testing and reporting solutions for Cisco IP telephony systems , today announced the appointment of John McCormack as chief financial officer (CFO). McCormack is responsible for Clarus' worldwide finance, HR, IT, legal, and administrative operations. He joins a veteran telecommunications industry management team at Clarus, with executives from companies such as Cisco, Avaya and US West.

McCormack brings over 30 years of financial and executive management experience in global information technology businesses to Clarus Systems. Most recently, he was executive vice president and CFO for Transware, an international multimedia localization company. Prior to that, McCormack was CFO of BlueStar Solutions, Inc., an IT outsourcing services provider. He also worked at Amdahl, Analog Devices and GE, where he held a variety of executive management-level roles.

McCormack joins a growing Clarus management team with deep telecommunications expertise. Before joining Clarus as CEO, Reidy held numerous senior executive positions in the software and telecommunications industry, including positions at Qwest Communications International/US WEST, where he directed international business development, corporate strategy and marketing. Clarus Vice President of Engineering Gurmeet Lamba was previously director of engineering at Avaya, where he led the R&D division for its Unified Communications Solutions portfolio. Richard Whitehead, Clarus Systems CTO, has 20 years in broadband and baseband communications, with specialized experience with network management technologies. Other members of the Clarus Systems management team include Evan Powell , founder and vice president of business development, Kevin McGowan , chief technology consultant, and Matt Oberhardt , vice president of corporate finance.

Bill Rossi, president and CEO of Greenfield Networks and former vice president and general manager at Cisco, recently joined Clarus Systems' board of directors.
