Clarus Systems Launches New Certification Services for IP Telephony Management

Comprehensive Services Part of Company's New Flexible Engagement Model

VOICECON SPRING, ORLANDO, Fla - (March 6, 2007) - Clarus Systems, a leading provider of IP telephony testing solutions, today announced Clarus Certification Services, new packaged consulting services to help customers achieve maximum performance and return-on-investment from their IP telephony systems. Clarus Certification Services are part of the company's new Flexible Engagement Model, a menu of software and services designed to meet the IP telephony deployment and operational needs of enterprises, system integrators and managed service providers.

"We want to accelerate the adoption of IP telephony by making it easy for any organization to successfully deploy and manage high-performance, scalable enterprise VoIP networks," said Brendan Reidy, CEO at Clarus Systems. "Many of our largest customers have already tapped the IP communications expertise at Clarus to ensure their success. Our new Certification Services and Flexible Engagement Model formalize these offerings in several software and services packages to meet a range of needs."

Clarus solutions are designed to manage the complexities of deploying and scaling enterprise VoIP phone systems. The company's flagship ClarusIPC® software automatically tests and validates all user functionality in an IP telephony system, providing the only solution that enables the industry best practice of active, end-to-end testing of every phone on a network. With Clarus, customers can mitigate risk and improve performance throughout the lifecycle of their IP networks.

Clarus Flexible Engagement Model
The new Clarus Flexible Engagement Model offers three packages with a combination of software and/or services to meet the varying IP telephony requirements of enterprises, system integrators and managed service providers.

ClarusIPC Software: Enterprise customers can receive an annual license to the award-winning ClarusIPC software for the ongoing testing and management of their IP telephony networks. This option is ideal for large enterprises with in-house technical staff and resources that can integrate and manage the software.

New Clarus Certification Services: Enterprises and systems integrators can benefit from a comprehensive IP telephony testing and documentation solution which is completely managed by the experts at Clarus using ClarusIPC software. This option is designed for organizations with resource constraints, as there is no need to allocate and train internal resources to use ClarusIPC.

New ClarusIPC Operations for Managed Service Providers (MSPs): Through a hybrid software-and-services offering, Clarus IP communications experts work with MSPs to assist in certification of new IPT system deployment. MSPs can then use ClarusIPC software for the ongoing system testing and management. This option is designed to allow MSPs to build revenue-producing managed services on the ClarusIPC platform while ensuring quality deployments.

NextiraOne, a leading technical services company dedicated to designing, building and maintaining today's complicated converged infrastructure systems, has leveraged ClarusIPC software to certify and ensure quality unified communications deployments.

"With Clarus, we have been able to accelerate the deployment time of unified communications networks and provide our customers with the confidence that their networks will perform as planned," said Michael Reed, president of NextiraOne Mexico. "The new Clarus Flexible Engagement Model provides more ways to tap the unmatched IP expertise at Clarus to complement our own in-house resources."
